Skipjack Completes Acquisition of TransActive Ecommerce Solutions
Cincinnati, Ohio – January 2, 2006: Today, Skipjack Financial Services, Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition of TransActive Ecommerce Solutions, a leading provider of payment solutions to merchants across North America. TransActive is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The transaction was completed on December 1, 2005.
The acquisition of TransActive solidifies Skipjack’s position in Canada and grants Skipjack access to TransActive’s payment application development resources. These resources will further enhance Skipjack’s ability to provide industry-leading payment solutions to high-volume merchants across North America.
