Skipjack Completes Recertification on Global Payments Processor
Cincinnati, Ohio – April 25, 2005: Today, Skipjack Financial Services has announced that it has completed its recertification on the Global Payments East processor platform for Retail, Telephone Order, Mail Order and Internet transactions.
This certification ensures that Skipjack merchants deployed on the Global Payments processor are in technical compliance with Global’s most recent processor specification, reducing the risk of technical issues caused by non-compliance. It also ensures that merchants’ transactions are rated appropriately by their acquiring banks, eliminating errors in banking fees caused by inappropriately-labeled accounts.
Skipjack is Global certified for Level 1 and Level 2 data as well as Track 1, Track 2 and Track 1 & 2 swipe data. This provides merchants deployed on the Global Processor with the flexibility to deploy applications that support these data types. In addition, Skipjack is the first solutions provider to be certified for PIN-based debit over IP. This provides POS solutions developers with the ability to deliver advanced, low-cost solutions to their customers.
